“ Every dish was excellent, with some truly surprising flavor combinations. The salmon tartare with mustard yogurt sauce and red beetroot stood out as a creative and delicious highlight. The chocolate dessert was also exceptional — perfectly balanced in flavor, texture, and beautifully presented. The service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Coming from Belgium the prices were absolutely fair for the quality. ”
“ Everything was great with a single word. My wife and I were there for a lunch and had menu del dia which consist of entrantes, principales, postre, bread and one drink for a fixed price which is around 30-35€ (during lunch only from Monday to Thursday). I have tried traditional fish soup, secreto de Basatxerri asado (roasted pork lean fillet) and cheesecake. All were top quality, roasted pork had a premarination and serves with three different sauces that shows the skills of the chef. My wife has got falso risotto, grilles white tuna and yoghurt cream with banana-orange ice-cream. She was very happy as well. Surely, we will come back again. I am sure the place will be more popular and as it gets the fame the prices will go up, anyway, they deserve it. Thanks for the great experience :) ”
“ My wife and I were looking for a nice dinner in San Sebastian, and Villano Bistro delivered it. The tasting menu was delicious, and Carolina took care of us with grace and knowledge. Thank you ”
“ A lovely meal at Villano. The waitress was very helpful and friendly, checking various options to ensure it was pregnancy safe. The tomato bread starter is absolutely delicious! We enjoyed the pork and hake mains which were very yummy. Thoroughly recommend a visit when in San Sebastián. ”
“ Very nice restaurant behind the catedral in San Sebastián. Food is good, and the lunch menu deal is a great option. Atmosphere is very calm and relaxed, ideal for a place where you want to talk with others. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Menu is classic with a modern touch, it seems there is a lot of research in all plates. ”
“ Nice small restaurant, we had a chance to visit it while staying at hotel. We decided to try their lunch offer and it was fantastic! So delicious, and so mouthwatering plates, incredible! One thing I didn’t like- service. Maybe we weren’t lucky that day, I don’t know. A girl wasn’t in a good mood, that sometimes I was feeling like I came to her house you know this smile on face, when it’s so hypocritical, so you start feeling uncomfortable and you wish to finish your meal as fast as possible! But fooood- oh, it’s amazing! ”
“ While visiting San Sebastián we dined at this restaurant and throughly enjoyed the experience. We were served with an appetiser of seasonal creamed white asparagus which was divine. We also had white asparagus with scallops, mushroom ravioli, beef cheek, fried hake and tripe in a beef stew. Every single dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The service was equally excellent and we had a great evening in this lovely restaurant. ”
“ The meal was fantastic. We had the hake and the pork. Exceptional flavours and presentation. And then to have the amuse bouche and the sweet treat when the bill came, it all made for a very enjoyable meal out. I would strongly recommend eating here. ”
